Mesut Çakmak, Vice Chairman of Beşler Group, was elected to replace GUSAD President Erhan Özmen, who has served the sector for many years. In the last general assem- bly of GUSAD, which op- erates to find solutions to the problems of the flour sector, Engin Müderris Fedaioğlu, İbrahim Halil Dayıoğlu, Mesut Acar, Nizamettin Yılmaz, Hasan Özmermer, Sedat Sezer, Bilal Özbay, İbrahim Halil Bükün, Abdülkadir Saa- tçi, Ebedin Ergün, Fatih Özufacık and Ömer Uslu were also elected as members of the Board of Directors at the last gen- eral assembly of the association. In his statement after the general assembly, Mesut Çakmak, the new president of GUSAD, stated that their priorities are to realize the activities that will im- prove the sector and they will try to represent flour in- dustrialists in all platforms. “I would like to thank all the members of the previous management for their great efforts for our association. I believe that we will serve our sector representatives in the best way in the new period and we will make our association an ideal solu- tion organization in every subject “. he said. Mr. Çak- mak’s predecessor Erhan Ozmen, the CEO of Ozmen Un, had been the chairman of Turkish Flour Industrial- ists’ Federation (TFIF) for many years. Güneydoğu Un Sana- yicileri Derneği’nde (GU- SAD) yönetim kurulu baş- kanı değişti. Sektöre uzun yıllar hizmet eden Erhan Özmen’in koltuğuna Beş- ler Group Yönetim Kurulu Başkan Vekili Mesut Çak- mak seçildi. Un sektörü- nün sorunlarına çözüm bulmak amacıyla faaliyet gösteren Güney Doğu Un Sanayicileri Derneği’nin son genel kurulunda Yö- netim Kurulu Üyeliklerine, Engin Müderris Fedaioğ- lu, İbrahim Halil Dayıoğlu, Mesut Acar, Nizamettin Yılmaz, Hasan Özmermer, Sedat Sezer, Bilal Özbay, İbrahim Halil Bükün, Ab- dülkadir Saatçi, Ebedin Ergün, Fatih Özufacık, Ömer Uslu seçildiler. Başkan Mesut Çakmak yaptığı açıklamada, önce- liklerinin sektöre ivme kazandıracak faaliyetlere imza atmak olduğunu, un sanayicilerinin tüm platformlarda en iyi şekilde temsil edilmesi yönünde bir felsefe be- nimseyeceklerini belirtti. Çakmak, “Derneğimize çok kıymetli emekler vermiş bulunan eski yönetime çok teşekkür ediyorum. İnanıyorum ki yeni dönemde de sektör temsilcilerimize en iyi şekilde hizmet edecek ve derneğimizi her konuda ideal bir çözüm kuruluşu haline getireceğiz” şeklinde konuştu. Öte yandan koltuğunu Mesut Çakmak’a devreden ve bugüne kadar GUSAD Yönetim Kurulu Başkanlığı’nı başarıyla yürüten Özmen Un Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Erhan Özmen, uzun yıllar Türkiye Un Sanayicileri Fe- derasyonu Başkanlığı da (TUSAF) yaptı.
