In the conference held to introduce Turkish culture to the world and to contribute to the development of gastronomy in Turkey, 21 famous chefs from 18 different countries including Albert Adria, Elena Arzak, Virgilio Martinez, Soren Selin, Paco Roncero, Pia Leon, An- doni Luis Aduriz, Pierre Marcolini, Andreas Caminada, Cristina Bowerman and Gaston Acurio, were hosted. Barilla, the most important representative of the Italian gastronomic culture, was among the participants of the conference this year, too. Barilla attracted the attention of the participants with its booth that brought the pasta to- gether with art. The works created by the leading names of different art branches such as fashion, music and painting inspired by pasta were exhibited at the Barilla stand. Famous fashion designer Özlem Süer designed an out- fit based on her own pasta style. Eataly Executive Chef Claudio Chinali took the work one step further by pouring the pasta shape designed by Süer into the plate. Both the clothing designed by Süer and the pasta plate prepared by Chinali were exhibited at the stand. In addition to the art- work, pasta tasting was also carried out at the Barilla stand. Three types of pasta recipes prepared by Eataly Executive Chef Claudio Chinali flavored the event. Dünyanın dört bir yanından gastronomi ve gıda uzmanla- rının bir araya geldiği Ulusalarası Gastromasa Konferansı’nın 5’incisi Haliç Kongre Merkezi’nde gerçekleştirildi. Türkiye’de gastronominin gelişmesine katkı sağlama ve Türk kültürü- nü dünyaya tanıtma amacıyla düzenlenen konferansta Al- bert Adria, Elena Arzak, Virgilio Martinez, Soren Selin, Paco Roncero, Pia Leon, Andoni Luis Aduriz, Pierre Marcolini, Andreas Caminada, Cristina Bowerman, Gaston Acurio gibi önemli isimler başta olmak üzere 18 farklı ülkeden 21 ünlü şef ağırlandı. İtalyan gastronomi kültürünün en önemli temsilcisi Barilla, bu yıl da konferansın katılımcıları arasında yer aldı. Barilla, makarnayı sanat ile buluşturduğu standıyla katılımcıların ilgi- sini çekti. Moda, müzik, resim gibi farklı sanat dallarının önde gelen isimlerinin makarnadan esinlenerek ortaya koyduğu eserler, Barilla standında sergilendi. Ünlü modacı Özlem Süer, kendi tasarımı olan makarna şeklinden yola çıkarak bir kıyafet dizayn etti. Eataly Execu- tive Şefi Claudio Chinali, Süer’in tasarladığı makarna şeklini tabağa dökerek çalışmayı bir adım ileri taşıdı. Stantta hem Süer tarafından dizayn edilen kıyafet hem de Chinali tarafın- dan hazırlanan makarna tabağı sergilendi. Sanat eserlerinin yanı sıra Barilla standında makarna tadımı da gerçekleştirildi. Eataly Executive Şefi Claudio Chinali tarafından hazırlanan üç çeşit makarna tarifi etkinliğe tat kattı.
