According to recent market researches, the sector will reach $ 6 billion by 2025. Thanks to this cooperation, in Istanbul we will exhibit the technologies of the compound feed and grain markets, of which annual trade volumes are $ 500 billion and $165 bil- lion respectively according to the International Feed Industry Federation (IFIF). In addition, the world is going through a tough economic period. Companies are placing special emphasis on using the budgets they allocate for promotion and marketing activi- ties on much more efficient platforms and for a good reason. And we have decided to bring our expertise and strength to- gether in order to contribute to our sector in this regard. This cooperation will prevent our participants and visitors from be- ing divided into smaller events organized at different points and provide them with an opportunity to come together on a more efficient platform. This means a great deal of con- venience and savings for companies in terms of operational activities and a much stronger and extensive marketing net- work. Demand for flour and bakery products is expected to in- crease in the forthcoming period, especially in regions with higher population growth rates. At this point, the most im- portant regions are; Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and North Africa along with Southeast Asia. Because Turkey is one of the main centers of grain processing technologies in- dustry and it is close to Middle Eastern and African countries where flour demand is expected to grow, so this provides Istanbul strategical advantage in terms of milling exhibition. IDMA exhibition has received the support of national milling associations of 40 countries. Ayrıca ekonomik açıdan da dünya zorlu bir süreçten geçi- yor. Firmalar, haklı olarak tanıtım ve pazarlama faaliyetlerine ayırdıkları bütçeleri çok daha verimli platformlarda değerlen- dirmeye özen gösteriyor. Bizler de bu konularda sektörümüze katkı sunmak amacıyla uzmanlığımızı ve güçlerimizi bir araya getirmeye karar verdik. Bu işbirliği, katılımcı ve ziyaretçileri- mizin, farklı noktalarda düzenlenen daha küçük etkinliklerle bölünmelerinin önüne geçecek ve daha verimli bir platformda bir araya gelmelerini sağlayacaktır. Bu da firmalar için hem operasyonel faaliyetler noktasında büyük bir kolaylık ve ta- sarruf hem de çok daha güçlü ve geniş bir pazarlama ağı anlamına geliyor. Özellikle nüfus artış hızı daha yüksek bölgelerde önümüz- deki dönem un ve unlu mamullere talebin artması bekleniyor. Bu noktada da en önemli bölgeler; Güneydoğu Asya ile bir- likte Sahra-altı Afrika, Ortadoğu ve Kuzey Afrika. Türkiye’nin hem tahıl işleme teknolojileri endüstrisinin ana merkezlerinden biri olması hem de un talebinde artış beklenen Ortadoğu ve Afrika ülkelerine yakınlığı, İstanbul’a değirmencilik fuarı açısın- dan stratejik avantaj sağlıyor. İDMA Fuarları 40 ülkenin ulusal değirmencilik derneklerinin desteğini almış bir etkinliktir. Ayrıca bu işbirliğinin oluşmasında Türk-Hollanda Dostluk Derneği’nin güçlü desteği olmuştur.
