Besides health institutions like hospitals and pharmacies, industrial bakeries also provid- ed full product and service to people. Due to health concerns, products supplied by indus- trial bakeries were highly demanded; inqui- ries for packed bakery products reached its peak level during this Covid-19 period which emerged once again the importance of indus- trial bakeries all around the world. Bütün dünyayı adeta evlere hapseden Co- vid-19 pandemisi sürecinde endüstriyel fırınlar kimseyi ekmeksiz bırakmadı. Uygulanan ka- rantina süreçlerinde hastane, eczane gibi sağ- lık kuruluşlarının yanı sıra fırınlar da vatandaşa eksiksiz hizmet verdi. Özellikle sağlık endişe- lerinden dolayı endüstriyel fırınların ürettiği ürünler büyük rağbet gördü. Bütün dünyada paketli ekmeklere ilgi had safhaya ulaştı. İnsan gücüne çok fazla ihtiyaç duymayan endüstriyel fırınların önemi bu dönemde bir kez daha orta- ya çıkmış oldu.
