38 BBM / ŞUBAT 2022 • FEBRUARY 2022 NEWS HABER Ahmet Güldal, General Manager of Turkish Grain Board (TMO), who attended the 'Sectors are Discussing' webinar in Borsa Meydanı organized by the Güvenilir Ürün Platformu (Reliable Prod- uct Platform) and Istanbul Commodity Exchange, presented impor- tant statements about the markets. Güldal stated that the prices of grains, especially wheat, which have risen to record levels due to the pandemic and drought, have started to decline recently. “Products have started to be supplied to the markets. Freight prices are falling. Especially, there are de- creases in the taxes applied by Russia on grain. The new sowing and production data we received from the field are pleasing. In the Southern Hemisphere, there is an increase of 7 to 20 percent, especially in the wheat harvest. There are positive parameters this year compared to 2021. As a country, we received more rain than last year. We were very happy with the snowfall that was effective in Southeastern Anatolia. The more snow there is, the better the yield will be in wheat and other grain products,” he commented. Pandemi ve kuraklık sebebiyle rekor seviyelere yükselen hu- bubat fiyatlarının buğday başta olmak üzere son dönemde geri- leme başladığını anlatan Güldal, “Piyasalara ürün arzları başladı. Navlun fiyatlarında düşmeler görülmekte. Özellikle Rusya’nın hububatta uyguladığı vergilerde düşüşler var. Sahadan aldığı- mız yeni ekiliş ve üretim verileri memnuniyet verici. Güney Ya- rım Kürede özellikle buğday hasadında yüzde 7 ile 20 arasında bir artış var. Bu yıl 2021’e göre olumlu parametreler var. Ülke olarak ge- çen yıla göre daha fazla yağış aldık. Güneydoğu’da etkili olan kar yağışına çok sevindik. Kar ne kadar fazla olursa buğday ve diğer hububat ürünlerinde verim çok daha iyi olur” diye konuş- tu. Bu yıl çiftçiyi memnun edecek bir fiyat açıklayacaklarını be- lirten TMO Genel Müdürü Ahmet Güldal, “Çiftçinin üretim mali- yetleri yükseldi. Başta gübre ve tohum olarak fiyatlar arttı.
