26 BBM / NİSAN 2022 • APRIL 2022 NEWS HABER A flour company enters Istanbul stock exchange: Pak Un Samsun-based Bafra Pak Un, one of Turkey’s im- portant flour producers, took the first step towards breaking into Istanbul Stock Exchange (BIST). Pak Un Executive President and CEO Ertan Özgen an- nounced that they held the initial meeting for the IPO pro- cess with Istanbul Stock Exchange Audit and Supervision Board Chairman Arif Tuncay Ersöz. In his statement follow- ing the meeting, Ertan Özgen said, “We held the initial meet- ing of our public offering process with Arif Tuncay Ersöz, Chairman of the Board of Audit and Supervision of Istanbul Stock Exchange. I wish all the best for our country and com- pany.” Established in Bafra, Samsun in 1996 and producing world-class goods and services with high technology, Pak Un has become a well-known brand at home and abroad. In 2017, it accelerated its activities in Tekirdağ by incorporating Başak Gıda as its second production facility. Pak Un imports wheat from international markets with the Atimeks company, which was established within the structure of the Group in 2009, both meeting its own raw material needs and selling in the domestic market. It also conducts Re-Export in other countries. With Pak Flour Mills brand, the company exports tomore than 50 countries across 3 continents including United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Sudan, Ye- men, Angola, Benin, Sierra Leone, Madagas- car, Togo, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Tanzania, Rwan- da, Somalia, Djibouti, South Africa, Philip- pines, Myanmar, Singa- pore, USA, Venezuela, Maldives, Dominican and Norway. The ca- pacity of the state of the art factory with 17 rollers is 500 tons of wheat breaking, 40,000 tons of wheat storage, and a storage capacity of 1,500 tons of flour with its 22 flour silos. Borsa İstanbul’a yeni bir un firması geliyor: Pak Un Türkiye’nin önemli un üreticilerinden Samsun mer- kezli Bafra Pak Un, Borsa İstanbul’a (BİST) açılma yö- nünde ilk adımını attı. Pak Un İcra Kurulu Başkanı ve CEO’su Ertan Özgen, Borsa İstanbul Denetim ve Gözetim Kurulu Başkanı Arif Tuncay Er- söz ile halka arz sürecinin başlangıç görüşmesini yaptıkları duyurdu. Görüşme sonrası bir açıklama yapan Ertan Özgen, “Borsa İstanbul Denetim ve Gözetim Kurulu Başkanı Arif Tuncay Ersöz beyefendi ile halka arz sürecimizin başlangıç görüşmesini yaptık. Şirketimize ve memleketimize hayırlı ol- sun” dedi. 1996 yılında Samsun Bafra’da kurulan, yüksek teknolojiyle dünya standartlarında mal ve hizmet üretimi yapan Pak Un, yurt içinde ve yurt dışında tanınan bir marka haline geldi. 2017 yılı itibariyle 2. üretim tesisi olarak Başak Gıda firmasını bünyesine katarak Tekirdağ’da faaliyetlerini hızlandırdı. Pak Un Grup bünyesinde 2009 yılında kurulan Atimeks firmasıyla uluslararası pazarlardan buğday ithal ederek hem kendi ham medde ihtiyacını karşılıyor hem de yurt içi diğer üretici firmalara satıyor. Yüksek teknoloji- ye sahip 17 valsli fab- rikanın günlük 500 ton buğday kırma kapasitesi, 40.000 ton buğday saklama deposu, 22 adet un silosu ile 1.500 ton un stoklama kapasitesi bulunuyor.
