SUPPORT THE FARMER WHO REDUCE CARBON FOOTPRINT Carbon farms are implemented with the "from farm to fork" strategy. Consume where you produce, get rid of all kinds of land and packaging that increase your carbon footprint, pre- vent overprocessing, and create a fair and safe food system. Rewarding farmers who reduce carbon emissions is also the motivation of the system. While we are still busy consider- ing whether to support farmers on a product-based, basin- based or income-guaranteed basis, they reward those who contribute the most to the planet. A production model with a low carbon footprint promises happiness for all: the land, farmers, and cities. Providing that it is applied correctly. The task of rule mak- ers and professional farmers is crucial. Although the enthu- siasm to grow something on the balcony is well-intentioned, the water spent for 10 kg of tomatoes on 1 decare of land can often be at a level to reconsider the idea. In this respect, the process should be managed and supervised scientifically. Otherwise, resources can be used inefficiently in carbon farms as in the past. It's time for climate farmers instead of peasant farmers. How about being the first? Let's set up the first carbon farm. CARBON OPPORTUNISM In conclusion; a statesman who is not a carbon opportunist and will establish carbon farms without carrying the carbon business to extremes is wanted. Now it's time to establish "Carbon Farms", just as TİGEM has set a model for the farmer by showing that agriculture can be done in the deserts of the country. Let's take a hand in this work for the land, homeland, and humanity. But it's the eleventh hour. Carbon farms are the last way to avoid the climate crisis. Kurulacak her karbon çiftliğine tam zamanlı bir danışman hoca atanmalı. Onlar bilimsel bir karbon çiftliği nasıl inşa edilir, yönetilir halka anlatmalı, göstermeli. Yatırımcılar, çiftçi- ler Ziraat odaları, Tarım müdürlüklerinin önünde bilgi dilene- ceğine uzmanlar çiftliklerin içinde çiftçiyle birlikte yaşamalı. KARBON AYAK İZİNİ DÜŞÜREN ÇİFTÇİYE DESTEK Karbon çiftlikleri “tarladan çatala” stratejisiyle birlikte uy- gulanıyor. Ürettiğin yerde tüket, karbon ayak izini yükselten her türlü arazı ve ambalajdan kurtul, fazla işlemenin önü- ne geç, adil, güvenli gıda sistemini yarat. Karbon salınımını azaltan çiftçilerin ödüllendirilmesi de sistemin motivasyon kaynağı. Yani anlayacağımız biz hala çiftçiye desteği ürün bazlı mı, havza bazlı mı yoksa gelir garantili mi planlayalım diye düşünürken onlar gezegene en çok katkı sunanı ödül- lendiriyor. Karbon ayak izi düşük bir üretim modeli toprak, çiftçi, şe- hirler, herkes için mutluluk vadediyor. Yeter ki doğru uygulansın. Kural koyucuların, profesyonel çiftçilerin görevi oldukça önemli. Herkesin balkonda bir şey- ler yetiştirme hevesi oldukça iyi niyetli gibi gözükse de 1 dönüm arazide 10 kg domates için harcanan su çoğu zaman bu eylemi yapmamayı gerektirecek düzeyde olabiliyor. Bu bakımdan süreç bilim temelli yönetilmeli ve denetlenmeli. Yoksa kaynaklar geçmişte olduğu gibi karbon çiftliklerinde de verimsiz kullanılabilir. Köylü çiftçiler yerine iklim çiftçileri üretmenin zamanı geldi de geçiyor, ilk olmaya ne dersiniz hadi ilk karbon çiftliğini kuralım gitsin. KARBON SİMSARILIĞI Ezcümle; karbon simsarlığı yapmadan, karbon işinin de suyunu çıkarmadan karbon çiftlikleri kuracak bir devlet bü- yüğü aranıyor, iş garantili. Nasıl ki TİGEM memleketin çölle- rinde tarım yapılabileceğini gösterdi ve çiftçiye örnek oldu şimdi sıra “Karbon Çiftlikleri” kurmada. Hadi gelin bu işe bir el atın toprak, vatan, insanlık için, la- kin yumurta kapıya dayandı iklim krizinden korunmanın son yolu karbon çiftlikleri.
