16 BBM / DECEMBER 2022 • ARALIK 2022 NEWS HABER Theegarten-Pactec, a packaging specialist for small-sized confectionery products based in Dresden, Germany, acquired a stake in the Turkish company MAKREV Packaging on Sep- tember 1st. The Istanbul-based company was founded in 1998 and has since been manufacturing intermittent chocolate and jelly packaging machines as well as complete automation and feeding systems. MAKREV’s machines achieve a packaging output of up to 900 pieces per minute for jelly products and hard candy and 400 pieces per minute for chocolate products. Through the acquisition, Theegarten-Pactec aims to com- plement its product portfolio and become more attractive to customers in the mid-performance and price segments be- low the high-performance machines built in Dresden. “This step is exactly the right one for our long-term success,” says Markus Rustler, CEO of Theegarten-Pactec. “MAKREV machines are solidly con- structed and produced to the high- est quality. They have an impeccable reputation in the industry.” MAKREV, in turn, is expected to benefit from the Dresden-based packaging specialist’s worldwide sales and service network as a result of the cooperation. So far, MAKREV has mainly been active in the Middle East, North Africa, the CIS, and India. In addition to the sales cooperation, Theegarten-Pactec CEO Markus Rustler will take on tasks in MAKREV’s management. As a member of the board, he will actively shape the further devel- opment of the company in the future. Despite the cooperation, both companies will continue to operate independently on the market and serve the different market segments. “Through this cooperation, we are on the one hand strengthening the Dresden location as a place of know-how for the construction of high-performance machines. On the other hand, with MAKREV’s market access, we will also be able to offer new customers competitive solutions from the medium performance range that meet our quality standards in the future,” Markus Rustler concludes. Theegarten-Pactec invests in MAKREV Packaging Theegarten-Pactec has acquired shares in the Turkish mechanical engineering company MAKREV Packaging with effect from. September 1st, 2022. With this acquisi- tion, the packaging specialist intends to respond even better to customers who require packaging solutions for the medium performance range. Almanya’nın Dresden kentinde bulunan küçük boyutlu şe- kerleme ürünleri paketleme uzmanı Theegarten-Pactec, Türk paketleme şirketi MAKREV Ambalaj’ın hissesini satın aldığını açıkladı. 1998 yılında kurulan İstanbul merkezli şir- ket, çikolata ve jöle paketleme makineleri ile komple oto- masyon ve besleme sistemleri üretiyor. MAKREV’in maki- neleri, jöle ürünleri ve sert şekerleme için dakikada 900 parça, çikolata ürünleri için dakikada 400 parça paketleme çıktısı elde ediyor. Theegarten-Pactec, satın alma yoluyla ürün portföyünü ta- mamlamayı ve Dresden’de yerleşik yüksek performanslı ma- kinelerin altındaki orta performans ve fiyat segmentlerindeki müşteriler için daha çekici hale gelmeyi hedefliyor. Theegar- ten-Pactec CEO’su Markus Rustler, “Bu adım, uzun vadeli başarımız için tam olarak doğru bir adımdır. MAK- REV makineleri sağlam bir şekilde inşa edilmiş ve en yüksek kalitede üretilmiştir. Sektörde kusursuz bir iti- bara sahiptirler” diyor. MAKREV’in de işbirliği sonucunda Dresden merkezli ambalaj uzmanının dünya çapındaki satış ve servis ağın- dan faydalanması bekleniyor. MAK- REV bugüne kadar ağırlıklı olarak Orta Doğu, Kuzey Afrika, Bağımsız Devletler Topluluğu (BDT) ve Hindistan’da faaliyet gösteriyor. 1 Eylül 2022 tarihinden gerçekleşen hisse satış iş birliği- ne ek olarak, Theegarten-Pactec CEO’su Markus Rustler, MAKREV’in yönetiminde görev alacak. Yönetim kurulu üyesi olarak, gelecekte şirketin gelişmesini aktif olarak şekillendi- recek. İşbirliğine rağmen, her iki şirket de piyasada bağımsız olarak faaliyet göstermeye ve farklı pazar segmentlerine hiz- met etmeye devam edecek. Markus Rustler işbirliğiyle ilgili sözlerini şöyle tamamladı: “Bu işbirliği sayesinde bir yandan Dresden lokasyonunu yüksek performanslı makinelerin inşası için bir know-how yeri olarak güçlendiriyoruz.
